What do you think of the "furry fandom"?

Wikipedia provides some insight as to what a furry is:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furry_fandom

Basically, they have an interest (not necessarily romantic or sexual) in anthropomorphic animal characters (such as the characters in Zootopia) and may even dress up as them.

Personally I'm totally fine with them and could even relate to some aspects of the Furry fandom. I don't relate to the sexual aspects at all, but even I think that is fine as long as no boundaries are crossed.

I think it's all good as long as they don't have sex with the actual non-human animals...an act which I'd like to think isn't representative of the furry fandom at all.

Um. I don't really think anything about them.

I can only echo what other people have said: I don't remotely understand the appeal, but if no-one's being harmed, I don't consider it to be anyone's business how consenting adults find their fun, whether it's sexual or not.

Can't say that I think about them, at all.

Ah, dammit.

And I was mid-wank too! πŸ˜†

I think they're mentally disturbed.

a co-worker of mine, 30 something, a little mentally slow told the wrong person, the company gossiper, that he was a furry and it went around the whole building. he didnt drive and was looking for someone to drive him to a convention.

i kinda understand with him, he's really dominated by his parents. he dresses as a masculine animal. but he said the conventions are sexual meetups and the suits have "SPHs" (strategically placed holes). https://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Category:Mature_terms

i dont care what the adults do together. but seems a little dangerous to me as children would see a animal mascot suit as something friendly. yet, may contain a creepy, concealed, old pervert.

When I see stuff like this, I usually grimace in disappointment and keep walking.

Same goes for Mascots.
