It's frustrating when you have the image of a movie you liked in your head, but you can't remember what movie it was.

I saw a movie about 10 years ago that was really good, and all I can remember was one room that they kept going back to. It was foreign so I don't know the names of any of the actors. I voted for it on IMDb, which I normally do, but I still can't get it. I wish there was some device that I could hook myself up to and the image I'm thinking of displays on a monitor.

That is frustrating.

I feel you. For me it's a show. There was these 3 chicks & a dude. It was an action comedy. I was a preteen & we used to watch it altogether as a family in the 1999-2001ish period.

I asked my family about it & just like me, they only remember the three chicks & a guy part.

That's what we've been calling it for almost two decades now. The 3 chicks and a guy show. πŸ˜†

V.I.P. (1998-2002) with Pamela Anderson?

2 Girls 1 Cup?

reply

Where did the third girl go?

reply

The E.R.

reply

Now they have to pump it out of her.

reply

My first thought too!

reply

Close but no. I'm 90% sure the main guy was white.

Eh, I don't know. My big sis says that the show is just fever dream we all shared. πŸ˜†

While my mom is pretty sure the whole thing is a mandela effect.

There is a really old sappy movie from the late 40's - early 50's where the mother is dying and at the end she and her husband go off on a vacation and a fortune teller tells her that her life line is long except for a tiny break. She dies at the end and the last shot is her daughter playing a classical piece on the piano.
I have no idea who was in the movie and wish I could figure out the name of it.

reply

With the description you gave, someone on IMDb would have found this for you easily.

reply

Yeah. The I Need to Know board there was amazing.

reply

I don't recall now if I asked there or not. Probably not since I still don't know what the movie was.

reply

It's the worst.

When I was in junior high or first-year high school, I couldn't get the mental image of a white beach house ext./int. of TV show out of my head nor could I remember the title, until I found the show/episode on tv back then.

Then a few years later, I forgot again; however, I did remember remembering and finding out what show it was. Then almost twenty years later (2019), I decided I wanted to watch one of my favorite shows from the 90s 'Time Trax' (1993).

Whelp, it was 'Time Trax' s2e1.

I had the same experience you did with the film "Dead Alive". I had a few shots remembered, but couldn't remember the name of it. One day I decided to watch it again and about 15 minutes in, I was like, "wait! This is it!"

reply

I had the same experience with Asian Babes Vol. VIII

reply

That's because your pants weren't on when you were "watching" it.
