I am absolutely stunned by how much vets cost these days.

reply

It has truly become a fucking racket. I took my two cats for 'their shots' and ended up dropping one large.

These cats, from here on in, are on their own. Hate to say it, but it is what it is.

My first day of vacation is going as smoothly as it could go.

Next week, my family and I are registered in a Radio contest which could with us about 700K. If I win I engage myself to pay half for your cat. 😊

reply

I appreciate it and good luck! 🙏 of course I'm not expecting anything if you do win. The thought is nice though. ❤️

Signed, million man.

reply

I’m a man of my word. Even my online movie forum word. Hehe

reply

I hope you win either way. You got 3 kids you could use it.

reply

What do you have to do to win?

reply

Buy some tickets and TuneIn at 11:30 in case they call your number. The thing is those tickets are only sold at specific location.

reply

Good luck. I hope you don't forget about that time I saved you form a burning building and you said, "thanks, man. I owe you one."

reply

One 12 inch Subway sandwich yes.
But not those cheap ones. Those new signature expensive ones.

reply

Just remember we’ve always been cool bro, for as little as $20 a day I’m totally your bestie!

reply

If I win, I’ll give you $20. Not per day, but I’ll give you $20. 😆

reply

I’m only hitting one or two guys with a golf club for twenty dollars!

reply

Hahaha fair enough!

reply

Cate credit helps with animal costs.

As for the endocrinologist, I guess I'd ask around. My wife's was really good. He went to ID.

reply

My wife and I first fostered then adopted my late brother's puppy. We made an appointment to get him fixed and the first appointment was for the precheck three weeks before the procedure and the whole bill will be $700. WTF?

reply

I had 3 or 4 rabbits neutered about 5 years ago and it cost about $350!

They Docs messed up and one male was left uncut and my hutch was loaded with babies again!

Apparently rabbits are difficult to sex, I learned that their private parts are all rather small so even good docs can’t always tell male from female with bunnies😕

reply

Ouch.

My aunt and uncle opted to put their dog down instead of paying the thousands it would have cost for a necessary surgery.

reply

That is not an option for us. It's the wife's baby that follows her everywhere.

I understand your opinion from experience. It’s a really terrible decision to have to make.

We had a cat named ‘Bootsie,’ she was pitch black and you’d barely see her hunting mice in the yard but for the bright white fur on her paws. She got cancer and it was aggressive, from her back end to the front end. My dad paid thousands of dollars way back in the 1980s for a couple surgeries and it just never got better. We had to put her down.

I love pets but sometimes it’s a leaky roof or a busted motor on your work car or a flood in the cellar… It’s a tough choice and it hurts but I want my human family to be OK too.

It is certainly a rough feeling.

Losing specialist is always such a kick in the teeth. I'm sorry that's happening to you.

Vet bills suck. Even when one has pet insurance it's still a racket.

reply

Thank you. We will get through it. Just seems like only bad stuff happens to me. It can always get worse. I'm really just venting. I realize some people have it worse.

Signed, million man.

reply

Well, bad stuff might only happen to you, but you happened to us, and I think that's a very good thing. Love you!

I’ve known two people that require similar treatment, sorry to hear it Amigo but science and medicine are such that they can really manage it and help you.

You’ll find a good Doc Bud👍

reply

Thanks buddy.

I’m so glad that Kings Towers is a pet free zone.

reply

I love pets but they DO make the couch and rug really stinky!

It is a lot of washing.

reply

You wash stuff? That's like too much work or something

Signed, million man.

reply

I’m oddly tidy and fussy for a guy.

reply

We’re away a lot too, which would be unfair on the pet.

reply

Of course. With your many travels it would be tough to keep a cat or especially a dog. Animals oddly need their people home with them, I get that.

reply

My daughter loves spiders and wants a tarantula. I’ve said I’ll consider it when she’s a bit older.
