This Movie Club will allow two things to happen:
 -people will be able to watch the same movie at the same time and interact here
-people will be able to have common movies to watch over the weekend and share reviews on my other weekly thread.   

Event #1 - Friday night, August 2nd 9PM Eastern time (if you want to watch live) and event closes Sunday at 9PM (if you haven’t been able to watch live and want to share reviews in the weekly thread.)

Yes, like for stuff like memorial day, the presidents birthdays, etc. we usually get an extra day off. Then we have a week off for thanksgiving, three weeks off for christmas and new years, and two weeks off for easter break

This movie is like the Yang to The big empty’s Yin. They are similar yet total opposite. They’re both constructed abstractly and relying much on ambience but The big Empty felt alive with a vibrant soul and fun characters. Possum looks like it’s dead deep inside, with ugly characters

Fair point. I'm not sure the movie would be any more entertaining to watch, but yes, the abuser being female is notably absent from these types of films and could challenge viewers in other ways.
