Silence of The Lambs watch party.
starting now.
shareI’m all in Sis👍
shareVery good soundtrack in this, it sets the mood.
shareThis is Jodie Fosters movie, Anthony Hopkins is just playing a role we've seen before.
shareI greatly adore Jodie Foster in this but I politely disagree, Hopkins reached legend level with this role. He was a chillingly brilliant psycho.
shareExactly right. He had done some great work prior to SOTL - but he wasn't all that big yet.
Jodie on the other hand, she'd already won an Oscar ("The Accused"). And, as I remember, she was nominated for "Taxi Driver" as well.
I don't think Hopkins was ever even nominated prior to SOTL. Off the top of my head, maybe he was for "The Elephant Man" - not 100% sure.
Silence is what brought Hopkins into the upper echelon - the great actor that finally got his career making role.
This is top 10 of movies for me, and thats saying a lot because most of my top 10 movies are under 100k votes.
shareOh, it’s a classic freak show and I love it. I’ve read the novel three times, It’s a very scary book and I don’t say that lightly.
shareBuffulo Bill the guy from Monk is scarier then Anthony.
shareBuffalo Bill is a psychotic disorganized fool. He’s a freak and a perv. He’s sloppy and demented.
Lecter would make short work
of him.
I love the Starling character so much. She’s in the FBI Academy surrounded by big guys that look like they all played college hoops and football and she just digs in and figures it all out. Clarice is awesome.
shareTom Petty y’all so you know this movie is really good👍
shareEasy to forget how great Scott Glenn is in this movie. The guy is a big deal.
shareOof!
Vick’s Vap-o Rub under the nostrils for the autopsy…this is going to be gross!
