..still being published in a physical book. Didn't know that!

Encyclopedia Britannica stopped publishing in book form in 2010.

It has been an occasional prize on The Price Is Right, going all the way back to the 1970s. The people's encyclopedia! Not like that snooty Britannica!

Glad to hear they are still out there - I cannot imagine growing up in the 1970s without them!

My mom still has an old Funk and Wagnels from the late 50s - early 60s. I'm going to call it outdated at this point.

Funk and Wagnels - bought those at the supermarket when I was growing up. Every week or so, a new volume would hit the stores. I was so excited when the set was finished.
