I like the bass but the vocals are very grating.

I love the bass too. I actually think it's a great song which counters Yoko's screaming vocals. It's the one song where I actually understand what Yoko is trying to do with the screeching. Avant-garde classic! 10/10

That’s pretty fair, I just never got Yoko so much.

No lower than a 7, but I can see varying opinions and a rating as high as a 9-10 based on the experimental avant-garde aspect. As Uncle Shogie mentioned, a pretty cool bass line, and I can dig the distortion. Sounds like something The Chemical Brothers could fuck around with, like they did with ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’; add some lyrics and more layers, invite Noel Gallagher to the session and voilà: you get something like ‘Setting Sun’….

I always preferred her work with the Dirty Mac and Israeli virtuoso fiddle player Ivry Gitlis. Good instrumentation by some heavy hitters and a full display of Ono’s standard grating vocal expressions:

An imagined 3/10.

I had no idea this "sister" album to the one I am familiar with existed!

Music: 8.5/10
Vocals: 5/10
Overall: 7/10

"No lower than a 7, but I can see varying opinions and a rating as high as a 9-10 based on the experimental avant-garde aspect." -- That sounds about right to me.
