We had our end of year water day today, when the firetruck comes and sprays the kids on the field.
It's pretty cool to see how powerful the water hose is. They could pretty much spray the entire field and spraying up about 3-4 stories I'm guessing.
THAT SOUNDS AWESOME...THOSE KIDS ARE GONNA REMEMBER THAT FOREVER.
shareWe do it every year about this time. This was the first time however they allowed the 5th graders to join in, since they were at recess. That was funny because they were all fully clothed, socks tennis shoes etc...while our kindergarteners were all wearing bathing suits.

shareI HAVE A VIVID MEMORY OF RUNNING THROUGH THE SPRINKLERS ON THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL ONE YEAR...I HAVE BETTER MEMORIES OF TEACHERS THAT USED TO POUR SHAVING CREAM ONTO OUR DESKS TO PLAY WITH AND IT WOULD ALSO CLEAN THE DESKS(?) I GUESS...I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT WAS WEIRD.
