Knorr makes the best chicken bouillon cubes
My mother always bought Herb-Ox brand when I was a kid, and that was good, but I suspect they've changed the recipe because it hasn't been very good for ages.
And that "Better Than Bouillon" paste stuff is a gimmick, and it's worse than Herb-Ox, not to mention a pain to measure.
Of course, my local grocery store stopped carrying Knorr a few years ago (I wish I had a dollar for every time they've done that bullshit), and recently I depleted my stockpile of the stuff, so I had to drive 20 minutes to the Super Walmart (you know it's super because it says so right on the sign) to get some. I bought a whole case (24 boxes of it), and when I went to the "self-checkout" thing, an employee informed me that they'd recently done away with the option to enter a quantity (and for no good reason), so I had to scan a box of it 24 times.
I made chicken gravy over rice when I got home; it was nice to have it taste right again.
