🎥MovieChat MovieClub Event: Friday/Saturday Features #49 🍿

New thread is up, and the old one is still pinned. 😝

This Movie Party will allow two things to happen:
 -people will be able to watch the same movie at the same time and interact here
-people will be able to have common movies to watch over the weekend and share reviews on my other weekly thread.   

Event #1 - Friday night, May 3rd 9PM Eastern time (if you want to watch live) and event closes Sunday at 9PM (if you haven’t been able to watch live and want to share reviews in the weekly thread.)

I do want to revisit some Frankie and Annette movies now. I used to love them when I was a kid. I also had a copy of Back to the Beach on VHS

I HAVE A FRANKIE AND ANNETTE BOXSET...I BELIEVE IT HAS THE WHOLE RUN....IS BACK TO THE BEACH THE 80S ONE WITH THE PUNK KID?...IF SO...I JUST UPGRADED MY COPY TO DVD AND REWATCHED IT RECENTLY....SO 80S!...I LOVED IT.

THAT REMINDS ME OF THE INTERVIEW....I HAVE NEVER SEEN THE SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE MOVIES...FOR SOME REASON MY VIDEO STORE KEPT THEM IN THE PORNO ROOM SECTION...AND THEN I FORGOT ABOUT THEM...FORGOT ABOUT THEM UNTIL I HEARD YOU MENTION THEM....I NEED TO WATCH THOSE STILL...I'M GONNA ADD THEM TO MY WATCHLIST RIGHT NOW.

I HAVE THE SLEEPAWAY CAMP RED CROSS BOXSET...I GRABBED IT AT BEST BUY THE DAY IT DROPPED...I HAVE NEVER COME ACROSS THE SLUMBER PARTY FLICKS...EVER...AND I SPEND A LOT OF TIME LOOKING...I STILL THINK OF THEM AS SOME EXTREME THING IN MY HEAD...PROBABLY DUE TO THEM BEING SEQUESTERED IN THE PORNO SECTION MY ENTIRE CHILDHOOD...AT THIS POINT THOUGH I ASSUME THEY ARE MELLOW COMPARED TO MY MENTAL PICTURE.
