I cleared out a firewood area and rototilled some Oak leaves into the soil with some cow shit. Four three gallon Lilacs trees and six yards of mulch.
It should be real pretty.

I've been helping dig up a garden today. It's coming along slowly as I have to fit it in around work (and rain 😓) but it will be great once finished.
We're extending the lawn area, then at the top of the garden we're putting a vegetable plot one side and a flower garden the other side.
My back is hurting but it will be worth it 👌

The yard is constant work but worth it imo. And yes, the thighs and lower back sure do ache after all the gardening.
Just planted two new plum trees and two new apple trees in my front yard, also planted two pears at my dads office at his request. It is a great workout digging all those big holes

The secret is cow shit, lots of cow shit tilled at least 6 inches into the topsoil and an angry mean dog to run off the woodchucks and cottontails.
My tomatoes and cucumbers are top shelf produce.
