Can you explain more about what that is? I haven't taken a good look around yet. I just popped in the general thread and read only a few posts here and there. I'm staying away from the politics thread for the time being so maybe I'll last a while. But then again, I was stupid enough to get myself sucked into an exhausting conversation with Skavau, during which he threatened to report me and get me banned because he didn't like my reactionary politics. So maybe I won't last that long after all.
shareYeah, I read that exchange with Skavau. Anyway Stonekeeper runs Friday and Saturday nights , Shogun does Wednesday and I do Mondays. We watch stuff on Tubi at the same time and comment on it. Check out the pinned thread on GD page for more info. Monday nights we watch terrible MST3K episodes and do a zoom meeting afterwards it's very fun. I'd like if you joined the zoom sessions. You can stare at Kowalski's ugly mug.

Wow, thank you for the invite. I'm honored. But I don't think I'd be a good addition to a zoom meeting. I don't really watch movies anymore, just TV serials mostly. Aside from that, when I'm in a group setting I don't usually talk that much and I have an issue being on camera (I literally just had to change doctors recently because they switched from doing phone sessions to zoom calls where you had to be on camera).
But I'll take a look at the thread. Maybe if you'll be doing a movie that I really like or want to see, I'll join in. I want to be able to actually contribute something of value to the discussion if I show up.
When you watch your movies, do you guys comment during them here on Moviechat?
Yes here on MC. You can leave your camera off and just listen. Some people don't put the camera on and it's fine. Or you don't have to zoom at all.

I remember watching mst3k when I was kid in like the late 80's. I didn't like it then. I don't know how it would be like to watch it now. I'll have to check it out on YT or something.

I’d be surprised if he was a regular poster, socking is looked down upon here. A lot of the long-timers dislike socks, it’s a very honest group here at MC.
