So I splurged and spent 90 dollars on this really nice logitech mouse. I actually thought it was worth it. It's got a second wheel for side scrolling, the main scroll wheel has this rapid scrolling feature that I love.

This morning, a mere two weeks after it arrived, I somehow managed to not trip over the charging cable, but wrap the fucking thing around my right leg. When I started walking away from the desk, it was slammed into my desk chair pretty forcefully. Now, it's still usable, but the scroll wheel, my favorite thing about it, is kind of fucked. It's sort of loose, like it's stuck in fast scrolling mode all the time.

Needless to say, when I get around to replacing it, I will be keeping it in a nice safe spot like the floor while it charges. It won't be sitting on my desk.

No offense but you are a clumsy guy.
I am as well. I'm possibly the clumsiest king idiot ever. Glad to meet a new club member:)

To plan for my moments of disordered stupidity I pick a 'safe' area to place my phone, laptop and reading glasses whenever I take a piss or step outside. I'm super clumsy!

Yeah, I've knocked things to the floor many times, but never had anything damaged like that. It was the extra force that was the result of the cord wrapping around my angle that did it.

I GET ALL MY MICE AND KEYBOARDS FROM THRIFT STORES OR YARD SALES...FIVE BUCKS OR LESS...FREE IS BEST...AS I OFTEN BREAK THEM....OR A CAT BREAKS THEM.

I'm nearly fifty and this is the first time I've damaged something this way. I think it was the way the cord had wrapped around my leg. It hit my chair with more force than a normal fall would have done. Maybe I need to start hitting up those thrift stores.

Yes, I can feel a little like a bull in a China shop at times. I am not tall but I've gut a pretty solid build, kind of like one of the Dwarves from Lord of the Rings.

I'm trying to picture how the charging cable got wrapped around your leg and can't see how it happened. Regardless, don't be too hard on yourself; shit happens.

I drop shit all the time and it's annoying AF. I'm actually not clumsy in other aspects, but I would wager at least 65% of the time when I pick something up, I drop it right away.

It's a long cable and it was attached to a power strip on the floor. I'm not totally sure how I managed to do it, either. I've tripped on them many times, but have never done that before. I almost fell on my face.

Of course, it happens when I'm charging the most expensive peripheral I've got.
