Haha. I actually did really like Barbie. But no it wasn't better than a lot of movies this year, even ones that didn't make my list. I did think Robbie and Gosling were among the best performances if you noticed.

"Anatomy of a Fall" and "Past Lives" were both written and directed by women and are many tiers higher than an average "Barbie" movie.
