Vhs tapes mold

I bought some tapes off gumtree. Didn't check them when I went to pick them up because there were like 40 of them and few have mold on the tape. Is there anyway to clean them that isn't a fuck around?

This here says if the tape gets moldy it probably isn't salvageable
