Most expensive WWE WrestleMania 40 tickets:

The most expensive tickets currently on StubHub are the two-day passes going for $23,625. A night one ticket is going for $16,538 and a single ticket to night two is going for $14,057. If you just want to tailgate at WrestleMania and take in all the action, you can do that for $234.

Two-Day Pass: $23,625
Night One: $16,538
Night Two: $14,057
Tailgate: $234

🤣

Cheapest WWE WrestleMania 40 tickets:

Fans can get tickets in section 240, row 19 with a clear view of all the action for $630. That's a two-day pass so you can enjoy both nights of Mania. If you just want to attend one night you can attend for $217 on Saturday or $196 on Sunday.

Two-Day Pass: $630
Night One: $217
Night Two: $196
Tailgate: $234

WWE WrestleMania ticket price history:

Tickets for last year's WrestleMania 39 two-day pass started at $227, with the highest ticket price around $14,000. The first night of WrestleMania 39 started at $67, with the highest ticket price around $16,000 and the second night of WrestleMania 39 started at $84, with the highest ticket price around $16,000.

While there isn't a direct line for the history of WrestleMania tickets, a set of tickets from an eBay auction could give us an indication of what a simple ticket was worth year-to-year. Some ranged from a low to medium price, depending on the section:

A ticket for WrestleMania I was worth $30
WrestleMania 2, located in multiple locations, was worth $15 in the Nassau Coliseum and the Rosemont Horizon (Allstate Arena)
A WrestleMania 10 ticket was worth around $75
A WrestleMania 15 ticket for one fan was around $100
A ticket for WrestleMania 20 was worth $200
Ticket prices for WrestleMania 30 ranged from $25 to $850
Ticket prices for WrestleMania 35 ranged from $35 to $1,000

Jesus, for $16K to watch this Live, I better be able to get a blowjob from Stephanie McMahon.. These prices are outrageous when compared to what I spent on tickets to see Billy Joel & STING and STYX & FOREIGNER

Blimey 😧

Those lawsuits aren't going to pay themselves...

🤣 💯

Still, I was really looking forward to a Brock vs Gunther matchup and now sadly, we'll never see this.. Maybe Brock can join AEW now and destroy that roster

reply

Brock is one of the few names that AEW could hire that would actually draw in new viewers but I don't see it happening. Even if WWE doesn't use Brock anymore I can see them keeping him under contract and continuing to pay him just to keep him away from the competition.

reply

Well look at how long Hogan stayed out of the spotlight for saying the "N" word 13 years ago for Christ Sake and the worst of it is, is that black people say it on a regular basis?? He eventually came back after so much time as evident with his Royal Rumble tease of being in the event.. Perhaps Brock's different and has made more than enough $$$$ to where he hides out in the Mountains of Saskatchewan tossing around baby calves for exercise or dragging a 200 LB Deer through the woods with 1 hand like Sasquatch?? LOL

"Fans can get tickets in section 240, row 19 with a clear view of all the action for $630."

I wouldn't go even if someone offered to pay me $630 to go. And are they really calling it "XXXX"? The Roman numeral for 40 is normally XL.

reply

That was me putting XXXX being sarcastic when posting this cause of the prices$$$

reply

I wonder if XXXX is actually a valid way of writing 40 though, in the same way that 4 is sometimes written as IIII instead of IV (especially on clocks - https://monochrome-watches.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Roman-numeral-number-IIII-watches-clocks-12.jpg).

WRESTLING ENDED FOR ME WITH THE 1990S.

HULK/ANDRE TO UNDERTAKER/RATTLESNAKE.

reply

What type of discount do you get if you let Vince poop on your noggin?

reply

ONE YEAR RUN AS A HEADLINE WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF A SHOT AT THE TITLE IF YOUR CHARACTER STICKS.

TWO QUESTIONS....

1. ARE YOU LOOKING TO BE A BABYFACE OR A HEEL?

2. HOW MUCH SHIT ARE YOU WILLING TO TAKE AND HOW LONG ARE YOU WILLING TO LET IT LAY?

reply

I was asking for a friend.

I'd only let the Macho Man drop a deuce on me.

reply

i don't see the average wrestling fan being able to afford these prices.

reply

THE AVERAGE WRESTLING FAN WILL STRUGGLE TO AFFORD THE GAS AND SIX PACK REQUIRED TO GET TO SUCH AN EVENT.

reply

i guess they stay home and watch it on tv.

reply

IN THE 90S...AS A FAN...I ONLY EVER ATTENDED ONE ECENT...AND THAT WAS A LUCKY CIRCUMSTANCE...MY PARENTS BOTH WORKED AT THE LOCAL AA BASEBALL STADIUM AND THE THEN WWF USED THE PLACE FOR A WEEKEND OF WRESTLING...I TOUCHED THE UNDERTAKER.

reply

You mentioned StubHub. Some of these tickets were probably purchased for typical prices of a couple thousand dollars in the October/November timeframe when they first went on sale.

Patrons will buy their own highly coveted seating locations, and then (not unlike scalpers) will offer them up on StubHub third party site for a reserve price of $16,000 or whatever else. Many will probably go to the show themselves, because they won’t sell. But if they do sell to some rich mizer who saw Cody Rhodes win the Royal Rumble this past weekend, and suddenly realizes he can’t miss it, then it has an opportunity to be a good investment. That’s my theory.

I lol’d at the Stephanie McMahon comment! For most of us, that’s hitting the nail on the head… 100%

I go to one wrestling match every 3 years. It's fun. With floor tickets, I've never spent more than $170 a piece. Add a plane ticket and hotel and your looking at an expensive vacation. I think we average about $3k for 2 people. That's for a regular show (it rarely comes to Minnesota so we usually fly to NY, SC, or MO). We tend to find oddity cities so there's more to enjoy.
