Yes I have a suggestion. I've been heavily involved and dedicated to physical fitness pretty much my whole life. One almost always did it alone, with my own ideas, my own way of doing things.
Unfortunately, I ended up with a problem I had difficulty solving, pain in one of my knees. I first had a non-invasive medical procedure done to help ease the pain. Then, after a quick recovery, one tried something different. I started working with a physical therapy facility. Some really good people. They took a good, long look at my situation, considered all the variables and designed a program specifically for me. It worked, one is finally out of pain. Now I have a good program I can work from my house - again, designed specifically for me and my situation.
This is my suggestion for you - try working with a good physical therapist. Get someone that knows what they are doing (and knows you) to design a program. It may work for you just as it did for me. Best of luck.
