I suspect that I'm in the minority here because I still use a laptop.
My Mac is almost 10 years old and I'm afraid it's finally going to bite the dust, so I'll probably have to go out and buy something new in the not to far off future.
Just looking for opinions on a new one.

This is what I have. I had a minor issue with it making a minor shock noise for two days but that went away. Overall it's been pretty good and had great battery life.
i think they are all the same now, function wise.
shareSpend the money on something with some juice behind it.
Aim for $1000 to $1500 and don't get roped into thinking something with 4gb of memory is fine.
Odds are you'll be stuck with Windows 11 and it's a pig of an OS.
That's impressive, 10 years, I think 4 years is the longest I've gone with a laptop.
shareMy Acer Chromebook is about 5 years old, its as fast as any apple.
