Never. I'm a firm believer in "home for the holidays." I don't go anywhere on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day with the exception of church. With Christmas falling on a Monday this year it will be a nice three-day weekend.

There are plenty of other days throughout the year in which to go to a theater/cinema. I can't fathom why anyone would go to a movie on Christmas Day.

Maybe because my husband and I always had family over on day w/o any conflicts with other commitments - much more relaxing that way, so we never had any pans on Christmas Day and would go to a movie.

I have never gone, but I used to volunteer to work Christmas day when I worked at the theatre. It was always a chill crowd and got holiday pay for it.
