Have you ever ridden inside a helicopter?

Crashes happen. We lost 3 service members in 2020. I've ridden in a Blackhawk. They took us full speed and made it like a roller coaster. Three of our officers filled their shirts with their lunches. It was fun.

I'd go again. My buddy works on Blackhawks. The reason a crash is such a big deal is because it's rare.

I have actually flown a lot of helicopters. 🚁

When I was a kid my stepfather was filming a TV commercial in Monument Valley, Arizona. There was a helicopter on site for aerial shots. When there was downtime the helicopter pilot gave me a ride in his helicopter. We'll, not really in the helicopter as I was strapped down in the camera operater's seat outside the helicopter. He flew me around for about 30 minutes and it was one of the exciting things I have ever done in my life!

The second time I flew in a helicopter was when I was in the Army and I flew in a CH-47 Chinook. It was fun but my first helicopter ride was definitely more awesome.

Do you ride in a car? There are fatal car crashes every single day and not just one or two but many many each day compared to maybe a handful of helicopter crashes in a year.

I had an intense dream about a helicopter ride once. I still feels like it happened. But no, not in this life.
