How much do you spend on your s/o x-mas present?

Just wanted to know about other people... I'm kinda nosey lol.

I will probably spend between 100-200 on a gift card.

I really don't know her well enough and that's an amount I feel comfortable with... we have only being seeing each other for a handful of months... we don't live together.

Well...'facts' I don't really need to know. đŸ„±â€‹

Buy a few small things they’ll use daily (cologne/perfume, calendar, etc) then buy one thing that they’ve mentioned to you the last few months. Doesn’t even have to be that expensive, but think back and you’ll find the right gift! 🎁

That sounds like a great idea.

I can’t say in case she reads this, lol.

I THINK PERHAPS YOUR KEYBOARD DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH 0'S.😁

$100.00 is very generous and remember, it's the thought that counts

If you are focusing on a dollar amount, you are focusing on the wrong thing, it’s the thought that counts. Which is why I wouldn’t suggest a gift card, it’s kind of Impersonal. You could give one at a lower amount along with something else.

Also if you have a significant other that would care about the dollar value of a gift, run as far away as possible.

Gift card - dude, do better.

You have to know some of her likes by now, play Columbo, figure out something she'd like.

What kind of clothes doe she wear, what kind of perfume does she wear, is there a music concert she'd like to go to, what's her favourite candy and so on.

If this is your first Christmas together, get her something memorable, it doesn't have to be expensive - a Christmas ornament, a picture of the two of you, something other than a gift card.

And if she's all about the cash, ditch her before it's too late.

With your situation, keep the gift personal and don't worry about the price.

For example, if you enjoyed a date at a theme park, print a photo from the day and put it in a nice frame. If the other person likes to use a blanket while hanging out at your place, buy them a similar blanket. You've dated a few months and you should have something comfortable and personal that would be a practical and meaningful basis for a gift.
