When I was a kid we shot each other with BB guns. Not very safe and yes, I almost got an eye put out. My stepbrother shot me right on my eyebrow. I never played with BB guns ever again!

I shot my fat Chinese buddy in the balls one time and somebody (I think it was my Pal Mike but there were so many shots going off it was hard to tell) shot me in my earlobe during a particularly involved shootout. That graze bled for days, I'll never forget the cute blonde girl who sat next to me in class asking "Do you know you've been bleeding from your ear for two days now?"
I wanted to date her but clearly she was disgusted with me, and who could blame her? So I took her cute Italian friend instead:)

Airguns are a good way to teach boys how to handle real firearms, in terms of gun safety and proper aiming and the use of scopes. I have a half dozen BB Guns and my boy and I use them a lot for fun.
I think it's amazing we survived our childhood! I did much more dangerous things besides a BB gun fight.

Between bb gun wars, rock wars and fireworks, it's miraculous we all came out unscathed.
