Wouldn't that be T-Swizzle? Currently dominating the charts with about a gazillion songs & albums.
Taylor is the bigger name yeah but I decree that Dua is the true Queen.
shareOf course I've heard about her for years now, but I don't think I've ever heard any song of hers completely.
But most modern "pop" is not really in my wheelhouse, outside of someone like Adele & some lesser known ones like Lissie or Alison Sudol (aka A Fine Frenzy)
What makes her the "queen of pop"?

I find her consistency to be amazing in that I like most of her songs, for most singers/bands that I like I tend to only enjoy 3 or so songs per album. I really like about 15 songs Dua has done so far and that's after only two albums and a few singles she's done with other artists. I actually think she's the person with the greatest quantity of songs I like, all that in such a short time frame.
She gets a lot of radio play here in the UK. She's probably a bigger deal here in the UK than she is in North America, she is British after all (of Albanian descent).
I think that's only something a fan of hers would say. Taylor Swift is hands down the Queen of Pop Music right now. Dua Lipa is one of a large number of studio creations karaoke-ing over music they had no part in creating. I have nothing against her. She's had some catchy hit songs, but nothing about her is special.
