is this a bennymuso question?

reply

Nah. Actually, it was just meant as an observation that "I guess my question is" has become a thing people say. I hear it on TV, everywhere, in an interview, a Q&A, invariably someone will will say "I guess my question is"

Well, don't guess, just ask it!

Is a hot dog a sandwich?

reply

Google this and you will see a LOT of hits. My opinion is that it doesn't really matter, because it is not what we typically think of as a sandwich. NO ONE says "want a sandwich?" when referring to hot dog. I'd say they same thing about hamburgers.
