Dwayne Johnson Wants His Botched Wax Figure Changed
share
This is why we can't have nice things
shareHe's lucky the figure still looks remotely like him even with the darker coloring. There are some wax figures that look nothing like the people they're supposed to be of.
shareThose people act like they purposely gave him a lighter skintone because they hate black people or something, not realizing there are way darker wax figures there.
Johnson shouldn't complain. No doubt they invited him before creating the figure. Just pay them a visit and they'll get it right.
it's a bit light on the skin tone
shareDid they get Dwayne's johnson wrong?
shareIt looks close enough to me:

What some people don't realize is that you can't go by pictures unless Johnson and his wax figure are actually standing beside each other when the picture is taken. Comparing pictures of Johnson and his wax figure taken with different cameras with different settings and specifications, under different lighting conditions, like various media outlets are doing (like here - https://akns-images.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/2023923/rs_1024x759-231023092715-DwayneWaxGallery.jpg) is utterly absurd; it proves exactly nothing. You can obviously do the same thing with different pictures of Johnson himself, like this:

And what does that prove? That Johnson bleached his skin for the picture on the left? Or that he was wearing "blackface" makeup for the picture on the right?
