The blanket, or the thermostat?

When it’s cold in your bedroom, do you prefer to turn up the thermostat or to crawl under your bed blankets? I want the wool blankets, some of them older than you are! The thermostat is okay, but nothing else rivals the comfort and satisfaction of crawling from a chilly Autumn environment into one of instant, soft warmth that you can easily modulate by pushing blankets off you or pulling them onto you and not having to haul your ass out of the bed to twist a knob on a machine; and, if a lover is in the bed with you, it is obviously “no contest.” I imagine that crawling under the sheets (or animal skins) is an atavistic pleasure dating back to the Stone Age. How about you?

Both! Plus my super-warm winter bathrobe!

The older I get, the less tolerance I have for cold.

You sound like a candidate for having a fireplace in your bedroom!

One of the many things that I like about women is how much they hate to be cold, so they love to snuggle with us Mastadonian men. Or could women be lying to us to have an excuse to snuggle and cuddle . . . ?

If so, as ever, I salute them.

I like to sleep in a cool/cold room, but I use an electric blanket to warm the bed before bedtime.

If it's below 60, the windows have to be closed and turn the heat on briefly to crack the chill in the air, but I do enjoy sleeping with the windows open
