The Philippines would have been my guess. 7,641 islands. Not even close!

Huh, I thought the same.
I don't think of Sweden as having a ridiculously high number of islands but I guess as an historically sea-faring folk it does make sense. Most are uninhabited btw, I just looked it up.

Yah yah, I believe you that there are other sources saying different.
The problem is, that Sweden counted their islands themselves.

That in turn reminds to the European condom desaster.
The men measured themselves.
And then the European condoms were too big for the 'normal' man. ☺
