Where's Jack when you need him..
The U.S. lost *every* match in the first round of the Ryder Cup. Every freaking match. Nice job guys.
Tiger may be hurt and past his prime, but he's still a gamer. I'd even take him.

Maybe their minds are off the game, busy thinking about what they're doing to do with all their Saudi money?

shareIt hasn't gotten much better today. Bottom line, though...the Europeans have made some incredible shots and holed some incredible putts when they've needed to, as they usually seem to do at the Ryder Cup. The Europeans get the Ryder Cup while the American golfers, for the most part, don't. As a golfer, I love the Ryder Cup...nothing quite like it in professional sports.
PS: Jordan Spieth is my "spirit animal" when it comes to golf. I don't think I've ever seen a pro golfer who's accomplished as much as he has struggle with his golf swing like Spieth has (I have really struggled the past few months with my swing...hitting duck/snap hooks off the tee with my driver and just not hitting my irons solidly at all. Fortunately, I think I've solved the issue...had to do with my swing path. Of course, I finally figure it out with about a month left in the golf season and all my outings are over). But I feel for Spieth...that's tough to be struggling with your game and swing like that, especially in that atmosphere.
I also love the Ryder cup (despite the results). I put it on par (sorry) with The Masters. The rest of the majors way behind.
Yes...there just isn't anything like the Ryder Cup. You see some incredible shots and then shots that look like some of mine! 😃
The American groups this afternoon are finally playing better. You look at the American roster and it's an impressive team...but a lot of guys don't have their top form and it's really shown this weekend. U.S. has not won the Ryder Cup on foreign soil since 1993...that's a long time.
