I'm out of here. Used to post a lot on IMDb, and was hoping Moviechat would be a replacement, but it's aggravating. The site blocks anyone with a VPN, and I never go online without a VPN. Not from viewing, but from posting. Worse, it doesn't tell you beforehand. You just waste time composing a message, only to have it never actually show up after you click on "post." I'm not going through the hassle of turning my VPN off and and back on every time I want to post something. No other site does this. Either you're blocked or you're not, never you're on but your activity is tossed without warning. Terrible way to run a site.

MovieChat does not intentionally block VPN users. I use a VPN and I know multiple MovieChat members also use them. What you described sounds like some incompatibility between your VPN and MovieChat's technology.

I'm sorry you are having trouble, but I doubt you will find many sites on the Internet that do not have issues with at least one VPN provider.

I always use a VPN, 24/7, and I have only experienced what you've described once in the entire time I've been here. Maybe it's your VPN provider, maybe it's your internet, I have no idea, but it doesn't happen to me.

Here's a workaround: Type your reply in notepad, then copy the text into the reply box. If the post doesn't go through, you still have it on you're notepad.
