shareI'm sure it is, and you are in an ideal spot. Location, location, location, as they say. Your home's value is boosted and protected by the quality of the neighborhood and the value of the other homes.
In the neighborhood where I grew up, people are buying small homes (like 900 sq ft, maybe 1300 with a finished basement) for $700-800k USD and either completely knocking them down and rebuilding, or dramatically expanding them to 3000-4000 sq ft.
there's a monster home on my street. tore down a perfectly fine house to build a much larger one.

shareI mean, based on the video, the neighborhood looks pretty peaceful and you have a very nice home.. On a scale of 1-10, I'd rate it around an 8 unless when the sun goes down, the neighborhood turns into Escape from New York much like the real New York is now??
