Another round of repacking Blu-rays and DVDs into dual disc holders

In my continuing effort to create more space in my Blu-ray/DVD cabinet, I have just finished repacking 8 Blu-rays into 4 dual disc packages and 28 DVDs into 14 dual disc packages.
I must admit that I enjoy deciding which films to package together.

The new batch consists of ...
Blu-rays
Papillon (1973) w/ The Cincinnati Kid (1965)
O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) w/ A Serious Man (2009)
Bridge of Spies (2015) w/ Woman In Gold (2015)
Once (2007) w/ Begin Again (2013)
DVDs
Battleground (1949) w/ In Harm's Way (1965)
Run Silent, Run Deep (1958) w/ The Train (1964)
Rear Window (1954) w/ Wait Until Dark (1967)
12 Angry Men (1957) w/ True Believer (1989)
From the Terrace (1960) w/ The Carpetbaggers (1964)
Donovan's Reef (1963) w/ McLintock! (1963)
Grand Canyon (1991) w/ Leap of Faith (1992)
After Hours (1985) w/ Into the Night (1985)
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988) w/ Heartbreakers (2001)
As Good As It Gets (1997) w/ The Bucket List (2007)
Frankie & Johnny (1991) w/ A Good Year (2006)
Carny (1980) w/ Adventureland (2009)
The Best of Times (1986) w/ Let It Ride (1989)
The Natural (1984) w/ A League of their Own (1992)

I assume he does. I understand the fun he can find in matching them but I wouldn’t be able to not have them in their original cases.

My better half put all of her CDs in a binder one day and my head almost exploded.

But somehow both she and I survived ( :

What are you doing with the original cases? If you're not throwing them away then you're not creating more space, you're using more space than if you'd just done nothing. And if you're throwing them away, you might as well get one of those CD binders which are like a photo album, which will save far more space than just putting two discs in one case instead of two cases. For example, this one holds 288 discs:
