Here's the latest song I've learned to play on the guitar...great chord progression on this one. What a sad song this is...written about the death of his 4-year old son:
"Circus" - Eric Clapton

I like Eric Clapton a lot.
Years ago when I first got an iPod and started buying songs Apple suggested I might like a song by a band called "Anal Cunt" a song with an absurd name... It's some punk rock band with these guys screaming for 60 seconds and I couldn't understand a word they were saying... Fast forward 15 years and my daughter tells me the lyrics. Really offensive to Clapton.
Hello! I've never heard the song, but one thing I have found out over the years is that there are a lot of people who don't like Eric Clapton. He's a very flawed person and I won't make excuses for him...but I think he's a tremendous guitarist and musician (and he did have a tough home life growing up).

I Can't Make You Love Me by Bonnie Raitt started playing on the radio during my first time getting dumped. It's a sad song but its sincerity somehow made it less sad, if that makes sense.
Believe by Cher, OTOH, completely bums me out. Delusional cope.
That's a great one, I also like "One Part Be My Lover (One Part Go Away.) These might have been off the same album.
