Nice effort Bones.

I just realized I've only seen one current movie.

I have to stop living in the past, watching old movies that I've never seen before.

I'll eventually see more of them, but it will take time.

reply

Agree, Tár was the best film. Such a complex, slow building puzzle. The more you rewatch it, the more pieces of the puzzle you can fit together. Blanchett gave an off the charts mind blowing performance.

reply

I 100% agree. I saw TÁR three times and it climbed higher on the list after every viewing.

reply

The Adam Project was a much better movie than I thought it'd be. Had such a fun time with that one

reply

Same here. Ryan Reynolds movies are generally good. I can't think of a bad movie with him in it.

reply

Green Lantern...

reply

Touché

Well, they can't all be winners.

reply

I have only seen a few of these. I disagree on Avatar 2 (loved it) and agree on Moonfall, which was not very good. I was actually a little shocked at how bad it was...

reply

Avatar 2, like the first one, was nothing special. 3+ hours of just generic, sci-fi blockbuster clichés galore. I too was surprised by how terrible Moonfall was. A movie with split personality, constantly changing into something else, and never knowing what it was supposed to be.

reply

Cool post man!

Question; I see a mention of Brendan Fraser but why no mention of The Whale anywhere?

reply

While I thought both Fraser and Hong Chau were excellent, I found the writing a little heavy-handed. That's why it gets a shout out for acting but I reserved spots in my Top 10 list for the movies that I felt were more well-rounded by having great scripts, directing, editing, etc.
