Why Do Some of You Always Believe the Worst?

When an individual says "I was abused by x" we automatically believe them, but when another individual *categorically* says "I *wasn't* abused" we assume they're lying.

What kind of weird, twisted, simping, sad, victim-fetishising fools want to believe the worst? What comfort do you derive from that? My life is already beset by constant anxieties, guilt, obsessions and disturbing thoughts. Are *your* lives so privileged, spoiled, pampered and peaceful, you must make sh*t up just to inject a bit of drama and horror into your world?

No, if someone says "I'm good" I'd much prefer to believe them, thank you very much. I see no benefit in adding further worries and concerns to my already overloaded and depressed brain. There are enough *genuinely* oppressed and marginalised people to take care of in the world, without making victims out of those people who have relatively trouble-free lives, so STOP simping for them and fetishising NON-EXISTENT victimhood.
