Flaky people. In regards to work, dating, life in general...

Anyone else notice that people are becoming increasingly flaky these days? I.e. they say they will commit to a plan but not follow through with it? I.e. constantly postponing or not even show up without prior notice or text. A.k.a not reliable.

I hate that! Very rude. I pride myself by showing up at least 10 minutes earlier before event.

The good ship Andy King sets sail on time, which means either we all have fun together or we have fun without you. Either way, I will be having fun.

Sounds like a good plan.

I wasted too much time in my younger days hanging around for flakey people and feeling let down - it never happens anymore.

reply

Yes, that is rude behavior. Agreed that it’s good sense to be early to appointments, events, work etc.

Flaky people don't change.

My mother taught me that it's better to be one hour early than one minute late.

Can any of us be sure TheMan18 didn't write this?

I was just about to say the same thing, I 100% thought this was TheMan from the title, or should I say in regards to the title in general 😬

Cheers :)))

The important thing to remember about annoyingly flaky people, is that you can't stop them from being flaky.

You can only decide how much flake you want in your life.
