This flu season is one of the worst I've seen in at least a decade! Thankfully, I got my influenza shot (along with 4 COVID jabs) and don't have any symptoms.
None so far. I haven't had the flu since 2010.

shareYeah, I’m pretty sure it swept through my house two weeks ago. We all got Covid, Flu and Strep Throat tests, all of which were negative. After three trips to Urgent Care they finally admitted that some weird thing called ‘RSV,’ a strange respiratory virus is going around and messing people up real bad.
Antibiotics knocked it out after about a week.
I had that Covid thing back around the 4th Of July and this RSV/Flu thing is just as bad.
Wash your hands often and wear a mask, it looks silly but might not be a bad idea.
I thought antibiotics are ineffective against viruses?
shareYou may very well be right, I think we all started here with a flu but it became a whole sinus/bronchitis deal. I could hardly talk, my boy was sleeping all day, the Wife was a mess…it was pretty bad.
On my third visit to Urgent Care I requested antibiotics and that dope chased it off real quick!
So I don’t really know what it was, the Doctors and Nurses didn’t either, I’m just glad to be solid again👍
Nope. But my cat had a fever this week so I took her to the vet and he said she probably had cat flu. (She is better now.)

Not flu but I did come down with pneumonia the week before Christmas. I beat it but now my throat is all scratched up and sore. Takes time to heal. Now Anytime I cough people look at me like I’m the Antichrist
