Best horror anthology?

I miss this awesome genre. My favourite so far is Tales From The Darkside, especially the final story ‘Lover’s Vow’.

Which is your favourite and why?

Very good question

Takes from the crypt is hard to beat.

V/H/S are fun.

The abc of deaths is not bad.

Bloodride was alright.

Is Tales From The Crypt all good, or did it have stronger/weaker seasons?

Is this V/H/S you're referring to? https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9212316/

It’s been too long for me to tell but I recently saw the film and it’s worth a watch for sure: https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0069341/?ref_=tt_sims_tt_i_4

- Creepshow (1982) & Creepshow 2 (1987)
- Cat's Eye (1985)
- Black Sabbath (1963)
- Kwaidan (1964)
- V/H/S (2012) & V/H/S 2 (2013)
- Dead of Night (1945)
- Tales from the Crypt (1972)
- Trilogy of Terror (1975)
- Trick 'r Treat (2007)
- Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983)

Amicus made several fun anthologies such as Asylum (1972), Dr. Terrors House of Horrors (1965), The House that Dripped Blood (1971), Torture Garden (1967).

My all time favorite anthology segment is probably the 'Amatuer Night' segment from V/H/S (2012).
