Fantasy is my favourite genre of novels. If I read 100 books in my life, then I would estimate 70 of them being fantasy.

I really enjoyed the Shannara and Redwall series and of course Tolkien.
shareI read a few Shannara books and love Tolkien, I’ve reread his books multiple times, he’s kind of the master of the genre.
GRR Martin is excellent as well, a lot of his fans are worried he won’t live long enough to finish the last two A Song Of Ice And Fire books.
I kind of agree, he really should tighten up and dial in on those last two books, he’s been farting around for years now.
The C.S. Lewis kid novels were actually really good as well.
I highly recommend Songs of Earth and Power by Greg Bear.
