The German Nazi Prince, Duke of Windsor, Anthony Blunt, Jewel Thieves & The KGB

This was an interesting tale of multi-faceted intrigue most importantly involving the Nazified Duke of Windsor's private correspondence with his Nazi prince cousin and who knows else in Germany, during WWII. Also a royal Hesse family jewel heist by a couple of US Army offficers.

Blunt used the retrieved documents as an insurance policy, which explains why even though he was discovered as a Soviet spy in 64, he remained in place within the Royal house and was subsequently knighted.

The bottom line is that the most direct evidence of Prince Edward's treason is known only within the royal family... and the Russian FSB.
