Trevor Lawrence is starting to show signs that he's going to be what they drafted him to be.

So many franchises have wallowed in futility for long stretches of time until they found a star quarterback, then suddenly became top contenders consistently.

It's happened recently with KC (Pat Mahomes) and Buffalo (Josh Allen) and before that New Orleans (Drew Brees) and Indianapolis (Peyton Manning) and I'm sure many others I'm not thinking of right now.

If Lawrence develops up to his potential, then there's no reason the Jaguars couldn't be next in that list. It's an "if" that still remains to be seen, but all indications are that it's going to work out.
