Its almost like there are different universes, and I'm not in the same one Gillis and his fans are.
I'm a stand-up junkie, so I watch it all, and if I see someone even a little good, I try to throw them praise... He laughs at his own jokes way too much, and kills the rhythm. He reminds me of friends of mine, who have their moments, just a regular guy shooting the breeze.
I think he's funny on someone else's show or being interviewed or in a discussion, when the situation presents itself. He likes to be offensive, but in a nice way.

Was that a double or triple negative, and was that intentional? I'm not sure if your a Theo Von fan or not after reading that.
I haven't seen Von's standup but he's pretty funny in some interviews I've seen when he gets on a roll.
