Why are important vehicle and major appliance parts made of shoddy molded plastic now?
You can’t buy a cheaper item like a fishing reel or a patio chair or a Beach umbrella worth a damn anymore either.
You’ll be replacing or rebuying it all in two years, that’s why.

Remember when cars were almost indestructible? Now what used to be a mild accident can total a car.

It’s all built like throwaway garbage now.
My 2019 Chevy with 50k on it and well maintained feels like it’s going to die on a big hill or a hard-braking curve.
America needs to bring the manufacturing jobs back, light up the factories and build proper gear that lasts, even if it costs a bit more.
Those manufacturing jobs raised American families and put them in American homes. Build shit properly boys and we’ll pay a bit extra.
