How do I make a signature here?
I had one on IMDB but is there a way to do it here?
shareI don't think there is a way.
I mean sometimes I see one, but the date always shows is was from IMDB.
If "signature" is so important to you, you can simply copy-paste each time you post.
shareNo offense intended but signatures are annoying and silly.
I’m very glad to not see them here.
The owner of the site, Jim Smith died some years back.
He was old when he died.
That's why the whole site looks like something from 1999. And there's no search feature.
Also...movie fans don't want to view the politics board via "latest post" because everyone there is a dick. And it's like SPAM!
I mean literally you cannot search the site for an actor/movie/director because there's nothing to work with on the site.
There is no search bar.
There are no fancy features here and we will never get them.
Just use IMDB, that’s what most others do.
This is the best site to chat about movies and talk nonsense everyday, screw the ‘bells and whistles’ buddy👍
It’s true, Jim Smith was murdered years ago in a warehouse somewhere in Detroit by violent thugs.
But scientists rebuilt Jim, he’s back now and he’s a heavily armed cyborg, we call him RoboJim.
Break the site rules and he’ll break your face😳
I know we're having fun here. But the site really could be whole lot better.
And IMDB? The whole reason the site exist is because those boards were shut down.
There is nowhere else to seriously go...outside of Facebook.
And there is NO reason why anyone should have to go to Google and enter:
site:moviechat.org + in search
This really is a goldmine of a website.
Yeah, We’re just goofing around, no insults intended.
But honest talk, my two most searched out sites every day are MC and IMDB…it really does suck that IMDB threw in the towel with the chat boards but if they want to be a bunch of wimps then fuck them, it’s still a good site for budgets, trailers, filming locations and actors…etc.
I avoid Facebook and the ‘social media’ stuff like it’s my religion, I made my wife void her account, a rare case where I was right😆
it’s still a good site for budgets, trailers, filming locations and actors…etc.
I just looked up the budget and worldwide box office on IMDB for ‘Stand By Me’ at random…$8 million budget, $52 million box…all the numbers are there.
It was filmed at Eagle Mountain, Burney, California…all of the actor’s names and credits are a click away.
I don’t give IMDB a shiny penny, I get this stuff for free on my phone.
Thankfully you can’t.
