Prequels
Margo Robbie is supposed to starring in an Oceans 11 prequel.
Here is another lazy studio trick, like the reboot. Rarely has there been a prequel that really added anything to a film series, yet more keep on being made.
Temple Of Doom was a great one and large sections of the Godfather Part II were flashback material and very informative as to why The Don was the way he was.
I’d also mention Missing In Action 2: The Beginning as a great prequel but overall you have a point, there aren’t very many great ones.
