Should the Bond films continue with the Craig reboot style or go back to the Goldeneye days?

A lot of fans didn't like the Craig Bond films other than Casino Royale. Would a return to a less emotional killer / womanizer be preferred?

The old days of Bond are over - I don't see those coming back. I liked Craig and the story lines during his run.

They just need to leave it alone for a while.

Agreed; and Goldeneye is no touchstone for Bond. The touchstone is and always has been Sean Connery.

At least the OP did not refer to the godawful Roger Moore crap.

Goldeneye is a great Bond movie.

💯ANYBODY NOT NAMED CONNERY IS SIMPLY ROLE PLAYING AS BOND.

Bond was a killer, he often got way too distracted by women but was otherwise an exceptionally talented murderer in the old books

If you recall the original Ian Fleming novels Bond was always about the killing, not fancy cars and sexy Ladies and not the silly stuntman tomfoolery…James Bond was a killer, no stupid gadgets, just give home a license to kill and a pistol.

007 was the man that garroted, stabbed and shot bad guys to death, he was a lonely killing machine with some side issues he was too manly to see a therapist about

A not very outstanding looking guy should be the next Bond, he should blend into a crowd and walk away after the murder without being noticed, these 007 movies should become more realistic
