Mark Wahlberg to portray Steve Austin in the 6 Billion Dollar Man.

For six billion dollars will he still run in slow motion?

reply

Yes, but the sound effects will be even cooler - BINT-DINT-DINT-DINT-DINT-DINNNNNN

reply

I always knew that they'd ruin this franchise when they eventually remade it. Remember a decade ago when they were talking about Chris Rock doing it?

reply

HOW ARE THEY RUINING IT?...DO THEY HAVE A TIME MACHINE?

reply

... with Mark Wahlberg? You like this development?

reply

IF I DIDN'T...I WOULD JUST...YOU KNOW...LIKE...NOT WATCH IT.

EITHER WAY ALL THEY HAVE THE POWER TO RUIN IS A NEW FILM THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO WATCH.

reply

I cannot argue against that.

BTW, name a movie that you do not like.

reply

THOUSANDS OF BAD FILMS...I WILL TRY AND NAME A FEW MORE WELL RECIEVED FILMS I DO NOT LIKE...

INVASION OF THE BODYSNATCHERS(ALL VERSIONS)

BLACK SWAN.

LA LA LAND.

THE LORD OF THE RINGS MOVIES.

THE MISSION IMPOSSIBLE MOVIES.

AND THERE ARE TONS OF FLICKS THAT I AM NOT IN LOVE WITH BUT RECOGNIZE AS NOT GARBAGE THOUGH...MEDIOCRE OR AVERAGE IS THE AVERAGE IT SEEMS.

reply

OK, cool. Just checking.

reply

Should've cast Stone Cold Steve Austin instead.

reply

I would love to play the casting game on this but it isn't fun anymore. I like very few new actors/actresses.

reply

THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE WITH A PRIME SCHWARZENEGGER OR ROCK.

reply

John Cena could be good playing that role as the dim bulb muscle head he did so well in Peacemaker (the guy’s very funny)

reply

I LOVE CENA...MY DAUGHTER HAS A CRUSH ON HIM...SHE HAS QUITE THE LIST...THE ROCK,CENA,MARIO LOPEZ,AND SAL FROM IMPRACTICAL JOKERS...WEIRD GIRL I HAVE...ANYWAY...JOHN CENA AND THE ROCK ARE BOTH REBUILT AND EITHER BATTLE,TEAM UP,BOTH...CALL IT THE 6 BILLION DOLLAR MEN.

reply

Yeah, Chris Rock would be a fine choice.

reply

I WOULD WATCH THAT...INTERESTING IDEA...OR EVEN CYNTHIA ROTHROCK.

reply

I always knew that they'd ruin this franchise when they eventually remade it. Remember a decade ago when they were talking about Chris Rock doing it?

Before that there was serious talk of a big screen adaption featuring Jim Carrey in the lead, and Todd Phillips behind the camera. All this is less appealing though than the prospects of seeing an erotic remake of Small Wonder ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnNANZRdG7M )
, coming to fruition. Only difference being Vicki is a bit older, and is portrayed by Mia Sara lookalike Katie Copeta https://mhsblueprint.com/19298/news/celebrity-look-alikes-in-mhs/

reply

Six million dollars sounds a little bit cheap these days, but six billion is too extreme.

reply

But they have the technology!

reply

I remember about 20 or so years ago when Jack Black was attached to play the lead. The premise would have been that six million dollars is not worth as much today as it was in the '70s, so he would have been "bionic" but with a lot of cut corners and shoddy engineering.

It would have pretty much been the feature length version of this: https://youtu.be/EoKwX5fLJ5E

reply

That's actually a more interesting premise!

reply

I won't watch it!

Of course it'll probably be bad, but I just can't stand the sight of Wahlberg.

He's 10,000 kinds of asshole, a crap actor, and looks like a shaved chimpanzee.

reply

Mark Wahlberg is the only actor I actively hate. And the worst part is he's apparently in every movie!

reply

I thought they killed this plan eight years ago.

reply

Eight years ago Steve Austin was still an astronaut.

reply

LOL.
I'm talking about this remake idea.
