Why are women so pale compared to men?

Not a doctor but it's my understanding female menstruation leads to some blood loss which in turn leads to some loss of iron. I'm guessing the male culture favors red meat more with fewer vegetarians.

I haven't noticed women have skin "more pale" than men, but assuming it's true, it's probably because women have elaborate face cleaning rituals, where men generally slap some lathered LAVA hand soap on their face. Men who look tore up like Billy Bob Thornton still get laid. Faye Dunaway doesn't.

Where I live women are more tanned.

Women are much more likely to use sunblock than men. I use sunblock at least on my face, neck and hands every day.
