I started rewatching Grimm (2011) this week, and I think it has one of the top Pilots to start off a series.

If you consider the TV Movie as a pilot episode then hands down the Night Stalker which led to Kolchak, the Night Stalker has to be up there.

Watched it some weeks ago on YouTube. Set in Las Vegas, the opening with a cute, petite, sexy blonde being the first victim was a real hook! Watching it again after many years was also a nostalgic experience.

Star Trek TOS had two great pilot episodes, I'll go with Where No Man Has Gone Before.
