Do you do odd favors for your pets?

I have a water fountain for my cat. https://www.amazon.com/PremierPet-FOUNTAIN-WATER-FILTER-BPA-FREE/dp/B07CYRHN55

It continually recirculates the water, pumping it from the lower tank through the hole in the top spout, where it cascades back to the tank. The splashing keeps the water better oxygenated; it tastes fresher.

My cat likes it when I put a glass full of crushed ice, about 12 ounces worth, into the tank, so I do that for him once a day.

My mom's cat likes iced water too. When I go over I make him iced water. I don't really consider it odd though.

I don't think it's odd that he'd like it; I got the idea when I saw a web site describing how to make popsicles for cats. What's odd is that I'd want to do it. Like most cats, he sleeps about fifteen hours per day, which means he's got a full nine hours per day to nag me about one thing or another.

Agree with estcst, not odd.

This is odd...not the intention, but the amount.

$12 million bequeathed to a dog. Wow. Well, Helmsley could afford it.

According to this source, a judge cut the amount down to $2 million. Still, it sounds like the dog made out pretty well. https://www.businessinsider.com/trouble-leona-helmsley-dog-died-2011-6

The article did have a mistake, though. A 12 year old dog is not 84 in human years but 64, so this one did not live to a ripe old age but rather a mediocre one. Probably had a heart attack from all the champagne and caviar it was eating.

Other items in that feature made me smile--Trouble's preferred mode of transportation was a Mercedes stretch limo--but one made me sad: The dog received death threats.
