Rapidly shifting temperatures pain me so

I'm only 33 years old, but man does the weather affect my bones, joints, and muscles in horrible ways.

I'm just now coming out of like a week of my neck just killing me, and I'm pretty sure it's just because the weather is getting decent out again.

This happens to me every year around this time. It does happen a bit when it starts to get cold, but it's always way worse when it goes from being bitter cold to being, well, not insanely cold. For example, where I live, it's now been several days of 32 to 38ish F weather, and for this area, that feels tropical. My winters are always frigid as hell, and though I don't like it, my body doesn't mind all that much if it's cold and stays cold. It gets worse every year and I hate it.

Anybody have any tips other than over the counter anti-inflammatories? Good tea perhaps? I do take antihistamines to combat seasonal allergies, and those seem to help a bit, but I don't think allergies are the primary cause. I think I just have wicked arthritis. Often times it's one or both of my shoulders, but this week my neck has been shitty, and it's not the first or last time.

try vodka, it was 2 degrees last week in texas, today 80

Yeah I don't drink but I'm sure that's a decent remedy.

If you have symptoms of arthritis you should see a doctor.

I take Omega-3 daily which helps with joints and inflammation. This can be either fish oils, or vegetarian like algae oil. For non-drug pain relief heating pads work well, or menthol ointments such as Icy Hot. I tried Blue-Emu and found it ineffective, though certainly a pleasant, odorless, and non-greasy cream. Icy Hot is better for pain relief. I occasionally use this, which I purchased about a year ago--Opove M3 Pro massage gun (not the Max). Especially good for the neck.

A Nice hot bubble bath always helps me. I'm alright with temperature fluctuations but if it's cold and damp i just ache!

A Nice shiraz helps too lol.
